802.11 Wireless Standards

802.11 Wireless Standards

IEEE Standards 802.11a/b/g do not employ MIMO, and function through the simple use of an omnidirectional antenna that sends and receives signal to and from any and all surrounding cell towers. These standards could also employ multiple antennas.wherein selection combining or maximal ratio combining are carried out to improve reliability.

As to newer standards such as 802.11n/ac, MIMO is used to exploit spatial diversity. In this condition, multiple antennas are not used to simply combine the signals as earlier, but to transmit multiple data streams at the same time that are created by the use of multiple antennas ,wherein to increase wireless capacity .

TreLink offers a wide selection of MIMO 802.11n / 802.11ac Dual Band 2.4/5.8 GHz Antennas,5 GHz 802.11a
and 802.11ac WiFi Antennas 2.4GHz 802.11  a/b/g/n WiFi Antennas. All antennas are tested in our own testing
facility and anechoic chamber .

TreLink also offers variety of options of the customized solution for wireless antennas , connectors, pigtails and mounting brackets. If any question ,please Email us at [email protected], we are more than happy to assist you .
